A number of outdoor activities are available in the area where you can be at one with nature. With a sense of adventure and incentive the following activities can be accessed - walking, canoeing, mountain climbing, fossil finding, 4X4 road trips, mountain biking, quad biking trips, skiing during the winter, orienteering, paragliding, sky diving, abseiling, bungee jumping, zip lining, archery and paintballing. You can fish all year round (Coto intensive de Pesca de Riofrío) and, as there are no hunting restrictions, hunting of big and small animals is also possible throughout the year. There are many guided tours and excursions, including cultural tours of the Alhambra Palace (these need to be booked well in advance) and the city of Granada, and numerous tours of the surrounding villages that have great cultural influence in the area. Alternatively, if you would just like a relaxing outing, you could visit the town of Alhama de Granada with its famous Arabic baths, where the water comes up from a natural spring at 48 degrees C.
